"I was waiting for somebody to make a difference, then I realized I was somebody."
This quote is printed on the back of our business cards. It is a quote that our organization
lives by.
On April 29th, the Pink SOCS organization, together with the North East Supra Forum, held a
fundraiser at Jonathan Motorcars in Edgewater Park, New Jersey. As I looked out over the
crowd, I was amazed to see how many people were dedicated to making a difference.
Pink SOCS Foundation is an organization that helps families affected with cancer. As a trustee
from Pink Socs, I would like to personally thank Andy and Patti Arnold from Jonathan
Motorcars, Garth Ruggie from Undercover Performance, and Reid Hardingham Director of
Business from Pitney Bowes.
Because of all of you, this event was one of our biggest fundraisers this year. We raised over
$8,000.00. This money will be used to help families who, unfortunately, have had to deal with
cancer. It will also be used towards scholarships to children affected with this disease.
I want to thank you for not waiting for someone else to make the difference, but for taking the
time and effort to be part of the cure!
A special thanks goes out to all the sponsors who made this event possible.
And last but not least, a huge thank you goes to Raymond Rosa! Without you, Pink SOCS
would never have had the opportunity to be part of such an amazing event!
Thank you to everyone involved. Because of people like you, we CAN make a difference!
